YWCA Tech Kids Show
The Chematsu Show Thursday 5:00pm
My name is Raymond Chlebeck, the "Chle" of The CheMatsu Talk Show. I was born in Torrance, California on July 26, 1998. I enjoy playing soccer because it's fun and challenging. I am kind and smart, but can be forgetful sometimes. I know a little martial arts and I take Geometry. I enjoy running and hanging out with my friends. In my spare time I play the violin and piano. I first came to the YWCA about 6 years ago. I attended the RAD, Read and Do, program when I was little and have since attended other classes, such as Drums and TECHkidsRADIO. Since our first broadcast I have learned to use the internet to do research, and have become familiar with the different functions of the radio controls and programs, such as Audacity, which is used to handle timing and recording. The class is very interesting and educational.
I'm Steve Ishimatsu, the "Matsu" of The ChleMatsu Talk Show. I was born in Los Angeles on February 5, 1998. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, and spending time with my family. I'm taking a special writing class which I enjoy, but most of all, when I have time, I like to make up my own songs. Usually, they are about what's happening with my school mates, friends and family. And I sing it to anybody who'll listen. Sometimes I make up words on the spot and try to fit them to some kind of music. I like TECHkidsRADIO because the teachers are kind and patient. My partner "Chle" is smart and fun to work with. Since our first broadcast I have learned how to research facts, and had the opportunity to learn the functions of the controls and switches in a radio station. TECHkidsRADIO is very educational and exciting!
